Week by week, tool by tool, gate by gate. No vague module names, and no way to slide past a week you haven't cleared.
Week 00 Orientation — Environment & Fundamentals
Python core syntax, OOP, APIs and virtual environments; SQL fundamentals; Git and GitHub; the Linux command line; networking basics; and database engineering groundwork.
GateA working dev environment and one small deliverable per topic, signed off before Week 01 unlocks.
Weeks 01–02 Data Modeling
Dimensional modeling, star and snowflake schemas, and slowly changing dimensions for tracking change over time.
GateDesign a star-schema dimensional model for a real business process.
Weeks 03–04 Cloud for Data Engineers
Azure fundamentals: subscriptions, resource groups, ADLS Gen2, IAM, RBAC and the CLI.
GateProvision and correctly permission a storage account using the Azure CLI.
Weeks 05–06 Data Warehousing
Build and query a full warehouse in Azure Synapse — schema design, distribution strategy, and query optimisation.
GateArchitect and query a full e-commerce data warehouse from a raw data drop.
Weeks 07–10 Ingestion & Orchestration
Batch and API ingestion with Azure Data Factory, then multi-step orchestration with retries, SLAs and failure alerting.
GateOrchestrate a multi-step ingest-transform-load pipeline with retry and failure alerting.
Weeks 11–13 Big Data Engineering
Distributed processing with PySpark on Databricks, and reliable storage with Delta Lake.
GateProcess a large dataset with PySpark and write it to Delta Lake with optimised partitioning.
Weeks 14–18 Messaging, DevOps & Security
Event-driven pipelines with Event Hubs and Kafka concepts, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and platform security.
GateShip a messaging pipeline and a fully scripted, testable deployment.
Weeks 19–24 Quality, Governance & Analytics
Data quality testing, cataloguing and lineage, then self-serve analytics with Power BI and modern tooling like dbt.
GatePublish a governed, quality-tested semantic model an analyst can use unaided.
Weeks 25–28 Capstone & Final Interview Matrix
A complete, deployed data platform from raw data to an answered business question, then a full mock interview panel.

Questions people ask
Do I need a coding background?
No. Every track — Data Engineering, Generative AI, both full-stack tracks, Data Analytics, and QA — starts from the fundamentals in its first week. If you're unsure which track fits you, the track fit conversation will sort it out.
Is this online or offline?
Offline — every track is full-time, in person, at our Kochi centre.
What are the batch timings?
Intake opens every Monday — your cohort is simply the Monday you start.
Can I pay in instalments?
Yes — a registration payment to confirm your seat, then five monthly instalments, the first due two weeks after your first week starts.
What's your refund policy?
Free to leave in your first 7 days — everything back, including registration. After that, registration is non-refundable, and tuition is refunded on a sliding scale based on the highest gate you've cleared: 50% through Gate 3, 25% through Gates 4–6, and nothing after Gate 6.
